Diving at Weymouth is voted one of the top ten best United Kingdom diving areas. With hundreds of wrecks and reefs, the area provides plenty of choices for all levels from the novice to the more advanced deep wreck diver. Access to diving may be from the shore, with gentle beach dives, to exploring the deeper wrecks from one of Weymouth beautifully equipped dive charter vessels run by experienced and knowledgeable skippers.


In Weymouth you can expect to see when your diving: Bib, Pouting, Pollock, Ballan Wrasse, Corkwing Wrasse, Blennies, John Dory, Dog Fish, and the occasional ocean Sun Fish. Dolphins and seals have also been spotted. In Weymouth also you can see Spider Crabs, Edible crabs, Lobsters, Squat Lobsters, Scallops and Mussels abound, together with many flat fish including Yurbot, Brill, Top Knot, Plaice, Lemon Sole and Rays.
