Located in the centre of the Adriatic Sea, surrounded by blue waters, the Tremiti Islands are a real paradise for scuba divers, with innumerable diving spots of all types. The Tremiti islands are part of the National Gargano Park, with 23 aquatic sanctuaries. Divers can experience beautiful flora and fauna in some of the best underwater scenery of the Mediterranean.
Because of the currents, they are rich in species, both sedentary and pelagic, like tuna, rays and greater amberjack.
The caves and underwater ravines are magnificent, with big lobsters, groupers and snappers. The caves are covered in gorgonians and black coral. Shallow waters go for miles, with a seabed covered in different types of sponges.
